Our Story

Two Decades In The Making

Long before it had a scoreboard or a stadium, kabaddi in this region was played on dust courts between villages, judged by whoever shouted loudest from the sidelines. The Asian Premier Kabaddi League exists because that raw contest deserved a bigger stage � not a replacement for it.

Since our first season in 2014, we've worked to turn local raiders and cover defenders into recognised athletes, building franchises around cities that already lived and breathed the sport, and pairing them with the broadcast quality fans now expect from any major league.

Eight franchises, one shared trophy, and a season that runs on the same instinct every gaon match always has: cross the line, get back alive, win the point.
